An economical water thinnable copolymer matt wall finish for interior use, may be applied by brush, roller or Airless Spray. Uses
Suitable for the decoration of interior surfaces, may be applied to new plaster, brickwork and rendering sooner than an interior/exterior quality emulsion, allowing walls to breathe.
Preparation
New and previously painted surfaces should be dry and free from loose and flaking material, dirt, grease, wax and polish and primed with the appropriate Macpherson primer.
Application
Supplied ready for use by brush, roller or airless Spray. May be thinned with up to 25 percent water to meet site conditions or the colour of the previous decoration.
Cleaning
Clean all equipment with water immediately after use.
SPECIFICATION
New Concrete, Brick, Plaster, Walls, Plasterboard, Hardboard, Previously Emulsion-Painted Surfaces, Lining or WallpaperThin first coat as required to counteract porosity followed by one or two coats undiluted.
Oil and Gloss Painted Surfaces
Flat well and clean before applying one or two coats of Eclipse.
Old Water Paint and Emulsion-Painted Surfaces
Providing in sound condition apply one or two coats of Eclipse direct.
Surfaces Coated with Non-Washable Distemper
All non-washable distemper must be completely removed before applying one coat of Macpherson's Primer Seal followed by one or two coats of Eclipse.
Wood and Metal Surfaces
These surfaces must be prepared with the appropriate primer, for information refer to the Specifications on Macpherson's Gloss Finish.

PRECAUTIONS
Because Eclipse is specially designed to allow walls to breathe it is not recommended for use over previously painted surfaces in kitchens, bathrooms or similar areas subjected to heavy condensation. In these circumstances use Macpherson's Eggshell.
Protect from frost.
Do not apply at temperatures below 5 degrees Centigrade.
Use only in well ventilated areas.
In case of insufficient ventilation during spraying, wear suitable respiratory equipment.
Do not breathe vapour spray.
In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice.
Keep out of reach of children.
