Drying Time
Surface dry in 2-4 hours; recoatable overnight.
Uses
Suitable for use on interior surfaces where a sheen finish is preferred. Especially recommended for use on surfaces subject to condensation.
Preparation
New and previously painted surfaces should be dry and free from loose and flaking material, dirt, grease, wax and polish, and primed with the appropriate Macpherson primer.
Application
Supplied ready for use by brush roller, or airless spray.
Cleaning
White Spirit or Turps Sub.
SPECIFICATION
PRIMING
New WoodAfter knotting prime as recommended.
All Softwoods.
One coat of Macpherson's Universal Primer, Interior Wood Primer or Acrylic Primer Undercoat.
All Hardwoods.
One coat of Macpherson's Aluminium Wood Primer.
Metal
Remove all corrosion and mill scale, dirt, grease etc. to produce a clean metallic surface.
Iron and Steel
One coat of Macpherson's Zinc Phosphate Metal Primer.
Aluminium and Non-Ferrous Metals
One coat of Macpherson's Universal Primer.
Concrete, Brickwork, Asbestos Substitute, or Plaster
These surfaces must be completely dry and free from efflorescence. Apply one coat of Macpherson's Alkali Resisting Primer. For use on dry interior aged surfaces as a binding primer after the removal of loose or flaking material, one coat of Macpherson's Primer Seal is recommended.
Hardboard and Plasterboard
Hardboard: One coat of Macpherson's Acrylic Primer/Undercoat.
Plasterboard: One coat of Macpherson's Primer Seal.
Distempered Surfaces
Cementitious paints and non-washable distemper must be completely removed before painting. Washable distemper should be prepared by removing all loose and flaking material and powdery deposits and one coat of Macpherson's Primer Seal applied.
Previously Painted Surfaces
Prepare and spot prime with the appropriate Macpherson primer all exposed substrates.
FINISHING
After priming apply two coats of Macpherson's Low Odour Eggshell Finish.OPACITY

N.B. On some darker shades in certain lighting conditions an uneven appearance may sometimes be seen and care should be taken when specifying shades, in particular for flush doors.
When using the following shades a basecoat is recommended in addition to the specified two finishing coats.

PRECAUTIONS
FLAMMABLE Paint product UN No. 1263. Use Only in well ventilated areas. In case of insufficient ventilation during spraying, wear suitable respiratory equipment. Do nof breathe vapour spray. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice. In case of contact with skin, wash immediately with soap and water or a recognised skin cleaner. Keep away from sources of ignition. No smoking. Keep out of reach of children.
