GENERIC TYPE: Single component water-borne acrylic primer.GENERAL PROPERTIES: A fast drying white-pigmented stain-blocking undercoater for use on all types of interior! exterior wood surfaces. BULLS EYE 123 also promotes adhesion to all surfaces.

SUBSTRATES: Apply over suitably prepared wood, drywall, plaster, masonry, tile, metal, vinyl, glass, existing paint, wallcoverings or other surfaces as recommended.
COMPATIBLE COATINGS: BULLS EYE 1-2-3 may be topcoated with any acrylic or oil-based topcoats. May also be topcoated with certain epoxies, vinyls and polyurethanes.

614 sq. ft./gallon @ 1 .0 mil (15.0 sq.m/l at 25 microns) dry film thickness. Application losses will vary according to the porosity of the substrate and must be taken into consideration when estimating job requirements.

SURFACE PREPARATION:
Surface must be clean and free of dirt, scaling paint, loose wallpaper or wallpaper paste. Remove oil, grease or wax with mineral spirits. If surface is extremely dirty or chalky, wash with stiff brush and water. Test all old painted or varnished surfaces for adhesion by making an X with a razor or knife and placing a section of Scotch® tape over, pressing down with thumb. After 30 seconds yank the tape off (do not pull, but yank the tape). If the old paint or varnish comes off on the tape, the paint must be removed. Never paint over any painted surface that fails this test. Loose, weathered wood fibers must be removed before painting.
Fill cracks and nail holes with patching compound; sand smooth when dry. Sand all new wood with the fine sandpaper and remove dust. Rusty surfaces have only to be wire brushed lightly to remove any scaly matter.
TINTING: May be tinted with most "universal" tinting colors up to 4 fluid ounces per gallon.
THINNING: BULLS EYE 1-2-3 is designed to be used as is. Over-thinning may reduce stain-killing properties. If thin-ning is necessary, use only water and no more than 10% by volume.

APPLICATION METHODS:
Conventional Air Spray: Pressure pot equipped with dual regulators, 3/8 Inch I.D. minimum material hose, 0.086 Inch I.D. fluid tip and appropriate air cap. Thin material with 10 percent water, spray at 30-40 psi.

Brush or Roller: Use clean, synthetic bristle brush. Flow product on and brush out. For rolling use a short nap roller.
DRYING TIME: BULLS EYE 123 will be dry and ready to recoat in 1 hour. Low temperature, high-humidity and poor ventilation will increase drying time. If conditions do not permit prompt drying, many stains will not be sealed in one coat.
CLEANING EQUIPMENT: Brushes and rollers should be cleaned immediately after use with soap and water. Spray equipment should be flushed with water followed by mineral spirits. Wipe spatters before they dry. If Bullseye 123 dries before you can clean-up, use a heavy-duty, ammoniated, household cleaner and rinse with water.
