36 inch Soft Black Platform Broom Complete
Extra large 36 inch soft black platform broom, generally used for sweeping large open internal areas with smooth flat dry surfaces, such as factory or warehouse floors, shop floors, school corridors, halls and classrooms etc. It offers good wearing and sweeping qualities and its extra large 36 inch broom head is much faster to use on larger areas.Our extra large 36 inch soft black platform broom head is filled with black coco fibre and fully pre-drilled for quick assembly. It comes complete with a 60 inch (5 ft) x 1 1/8 inch white wood broom handle which is longer and thicker than most handles, and our unique anodised metal broom head bracket complete with fixings.
Bolts are inserted directly through the pre-drilled holes in the broom head, the metal bracket is fitted onto the bolts and fixed to the broom head with wing nuts. The broom handle is pushed firmly into the metal bracket and clamped with a further bolt and wing nut.
We believe this unique fixing system provides the strongest broom head / broom handle fixing available. It does away with the need to use an additional metal stay to support the handle. In our experience, metal stays are nowhere near as strong, normally come loose, and the stay itself prevents the sweeping brush from being used effectively under low shelving, benches, chairs and tables.
