Waterproof Ceramic Tile Adhesive and Grout
A Brilliant White, ready to use waterproof ceramic tile adhesive and grout. Exceeds the requirements of BS5980 Class AA type 2. Contains fungicide.Preparation: New cement or plaster rendering should be allowed to dry, and then primed with PVA Adhesive and Sealer.
Adhesive Application: Damp and humid areas - apply adhesive with a notched trowel and bed in the tiles with a twisting action (coverage approx 1.5 square meters per litre). Wet areas - (e.g. showers) - apply a uniform bed of adhesive approximately 3mm deep and then lightly 'rib', bed in tiles with a twisting action (coverage approx 0.75 square meters per litre).
Grout Application: Allow the adhsive to dry for 4-8 hours before grouting. Press the grout firmly into the joints and smooth with a grouting tool. Remove excess grout immediately with a damp cloth. Do not expose to direct wetting, e.g. shower floors, for 3 - 6 days.
Finishing: Polish with a dry cloth to remove any traces of powder. Seal all edges and joints with a Sanitary Silicone Sealant to ensure a watertight construction.
