SBR Bond
SBR Bond is a styrene butadiene copolymer latex for use as a Mortar/Rendering admixture which increases flexibility of cement screeds and mortars, improves water and chemical resistance and increases durability. Also used as a key Coat adhesive. For internal and external use on floors and rendering in areas of continual or intermittent water and chemical contact.Directions for use as a priming/bonding slurry: Surfaces must be oil and grease free. Unsound surfaces should be scrabbled down to good material. Any surface laitance must be removed. Mix 2 parts cement to 1 part SBR Bond by volume. Adjust to a brushable consistency. Mix only enough to use within the hour. Scrub primer into the surface to ensure complete wetting. Apply screed or render whilst the primer is still wet.
