Sadolin Superdec Satin Opaque Exterior Wood Protection
Sadolin Superdec Satin is a water-borne, opaque, satin finish coating for timber. Superdecs unique alkyd/acrylic formulation offers a combination of extensibility and durability, together with the benefits of a woodstain; it erodes naturally by weathering, preventing build-up of the coating and reducing cracking, flaking and peeling. It also offers true low-maintenance benefits including; increased time between decorations, reduced application costs (fewer coats required) and ease of maintenance when compared to traditional paint systems.In a maintenance situation Superdec is ideal where a complete change of colour is required, where the existing surface has become weathered or uneven in appearance, or where loss of adhesion of previous woodstain will involve intensive preparation and may, dependent on colour, result in a patchy finished appearance. Superdec provides a solution to such situations, giving an even finish with minimal preparation. To minimise resin and extractive discolouration of the coating (particularly with white and pale shades of Superdec) use of a blocking primer such as Zinsser Bulls Eye 123 is recommended before applying Sadolin Superdec. We suggest you use an Synthetic SRT Paint Brush for the best finish with this type of coating.
