Sikkens Cetol BL21 plus Exterior Woodstain
Sikkens Cetol BL21 Plus is a low-build, water-borne translucent satin finish woodstain, based on a blend of alkyd and acrylic resins. It's an exceptionally quick drying, and highly translucent woodstain - Our personal favourite when overcoated with Sikkens Cetol BL31.Sikkens Cetol BL21 plus is suitable for application to exterior smooth planed softwoods and hardwoods for use as a basestain prior to finishing with Sikkens Cetol BL31. Sikkens Cetol BL21 plus is highly moisture vapour permeable - allowing the timber to breath, resistant to ultraviolet light and contains a fungicide to inhibit growth of disfiguring moulds within the coating film. These characteristics offer excellent long term durability, and real low-maintenance benefits.
Sikkens Cetol BL21 plus is available in 1 and 2.5 Litre sizes (Note: we no longer supply 5L sizes, as Sikkens latest pricing structure makes it cheaper to buy two 2.5 Litre cans than one 5 Litre can). It is available in the traditional Cetol range of 8 natural wood colours, the new Cetol Design Classic collection of 45 colours and Cetol Design Style collection of 40 colours, as well as the legacy Natural Balance collection. Coverage from 4 - 16 square meters per litre depending on surface condition and timber species.
