Sikkens Cetol BL31 Exterior Woodstain
Sikkens Cetol BL31 is a medium build, water-borne, highly translucent satin finish woodstain, based on acrylic resins. Quick drying 5 hour recoat, allows you to finish your decorating job in just one day! Our personal favourite amongst all the woodstains we sell when used with Sikkens Cetol BL21 plus!Sikkens Cetol BL31 is suitable for use as a finish over Cetol BL21 Plus on smooth planed softwoods and hardwood joinery. Its highly extensible nature enables the coating to move with natural movement of the timber, thus minimising peeling and flaking. Highly water repellent, particularly moisture vapour permeable - allowing the wood to breathe and resistant to ultraviolet light, other benefits include a low odour formulation and real low-maintenance benefits.
Sikkens Cetol BL31 is available in 1 and 2.5 Litre sizes (Note: we no longer supply 5L sizes, as Sikkens latest pricing structure makes it cheaper to buy two 2.5 Litre cans than one 5 Litre can). It is available in a range of 8 natural wood colours. You can order a free Sikkens colour card from the links on the right. Coverage approximately 12 - 14 square meters per litre depending on surface condition and timber species.
