Sikkens Cetol HLS Plus Exterior Woodstain
Sikkens Cetol HLS Plus is a low build, solvent-borne, translucent satin finish woodstain.For use on smooth planed softwood and hardwood as a basestain to Sikkens Cetol Filter 7 Plus. Additionally Sikkens Cetol HLS Plus may be used as a three coat, 'stand alone' finish on rough-sawn timber, cladding or components subject to high levels of wear and abrasion, such as garden furniture, timber decking and handrails.
Coverage for each coat: 6 - 18 square meters per litre depending on surface condition and timber species. Touch dry in 3-5 hours, recoatable in 24 hours. These times are based on a temperature of 20°C, normal relative humidity and good drying conditions.
Sikkens Cetol HLS Plus is available in 1 and 2.5 Litre sizes (Note: we no longer supply 5L sizes, as Sikkens latest pricing structure makes it cheaper to buy two 2.5 Litre cans than one 5 Litre can). The 'Plus' version denotes the latest formulation, which meets new EU VOC legislation. It is available in the traditional Cetol range of 8 natural wood colours, the new Cetol Design Classic collection of 45 colours and Cetol Design Style collection of 40 colours, as well as the legacy Natural Balance collection.
