Sikkens Rubbol SB
Sikkens Rubbol SB is an outstandingly high performance exterior high gloss, solvent-borne opaque finish that takes coating durability to new levels. Sikkens Rubbol SB offers excellent outdoor performance due to its use of a unique Polysiloxane silicone-based modified alkyd resin formulation, which makes the oxidation degradation process much slower, keeping the paint film stable for much longer. As a result it dramatically extends maintenance cycles to eight years or more. This premium level of performance is matched by no other system of its kind in Europe.Sikkens Rubbol SB is suitable for use on timber, metal and hard plastic with Sikkens Onol Undercoats. Sikkens Rubbol SB has been widely used in Holland over the last 25 years, its outstanding durability means that in most cases only three maintenance cycles are required over a 25 year period.
Sikkens Rubbol SB offers a superb finish, outstanding performance and colour fastness and excellent levelling characteristics which have ensured the products impressive sucess on prestigious buildings in cities such as Amsterdam, The Hague and Rotterdam. Its ability to last for many years at a time without requiring redecoration - and its associated costs - have make it a regular choice on tall unusually shaped or inaccessable buildings.
Theoretical spreading rate 14-16 square meters per litre, this will vary depending on the porosity and profile of the substrate. Touch dry in approximately 7 hours. Minimum overcoating interval: 15 hours. These times are based on a temperature of 20°C, normal relative humidity and good drying conditions. Do not apply if application or drying temperatures are below 5°C.
Sikkens Rubbol SB is available in 1 litre and 5 litre sizes in White and 1 litre sizes in Black for brush, roller or spray application.
