Sikkens Rubbol Urasilk Express Satin Finish
Sikkens Rubbol Urasilk Express is a high performance, solvent-borne, opaque satin finish paint system. It offers the same outstandingly high levels of performance and finish as Sikkens Rubbol Satura, but is touch dry and recoatable in significantly less time - hence the name 'Express'. Its outstanding drying capabilities extend the normal painting season without any loss of performance. Enabling autumn and winter decoration programs to be considered due to its faster drying times at lower temperatures.Its excellent opacity and microporous characteristics, make it a true low-maintenance product which is well regarded by specifiers within the maintenance industry. Sikkens Rubbol Urasilk Express is suitable for interior or exterior use on timber prepared with Sikkens Onol/Onol Express Primer Undercoats, and on suitably prepared and primed metal and hard plastic substrates. Sikkens Rubbol Urasilk Express provides excellent durability, reduces chalking on long term exposure and affords the necessary abrasion resistance required for application indoors.
Theoretical spreading rate 12-14 square meters per litre, this will vary depending on the porosity and profile of the substrate. Touch dry in approximately 3 hours. Minimum overcoating interval: 18 hours. These times are based on a temperature of 20°C, normal relative humidity and good drying conditions. Do not apply if application or drying temperatures are below 1°C. For brush or roller application.
