Kling Strip Neutraliser (discontinued)
Use N-20 Acetic Acid neutraliser on certain porous substrates such as timber, to prevent or cure efflorescence after using Kling Strip and where substrates are to be repainted or varnished following the use of Kling Strip.

N-20 neutraliser can be diluted with water at the rate of one part N-20 to up to ten parts water. It may also be used in stronger dilutions for heavy deposits. Always try the weakest dilution of N-20 first, it often gives adequate results.

Brush off or vacuum away any powdery deposits left after using Kling Strip, working from top downwards to ensure deposits do not settle on areas already cleaned. Apply N-20 neutraliser with a soft bristled dustpan brush or large paint brush. Work well into pores of coarse surfaces. Allow surface to dry thoroughly. Treat again if efflorescence reappears.

Repainting/coating: Once surface is completely dry, wait for several days to ensure that all efflorescence has ceased before repainting, then use an alkali-resistant primer.

N-20 neutraliser will mark paintwork and some plastic finishes. May etch metals and enamel surfaces. Only mix or put N-20 in plastic containers. Do not use on plasterwork or stonework. Suitable protective clothing must be worn when handling or using the product.

Available in 2.50 Litre Containers only.
