Aluminium Wood Primer

Aluminium Wood Primer provides an effective metallic barrier, which prevents oily exudations from interior and exterior hardwoods and resinous softwoods affecting the drying of subsequent paint systems.

Particularly suitable for use on Oregon Pine, Douglas Fir and other resinous or oily softwoods and all hardwoods, but it is not a substitute for knotting. Suitable for overcoating with conventional alkyd undercoats and gloss finishes. Apply by brush, roller or spray.

Aluminium Wood Primer is available in 1.00, 2.50 and 5 Litre containers. Theoretical coverage 14 square meters per litre, practical coverage 11 square meters per litre. Touch dry in 3 hours, overcoatable in a minimum of 16 hours at 20°C and normal humidity and drying conditions.
