Blackfriar Universal Clear Wood Preservative
Universal Clear Wood Preservative is a colourless, organic, solvent-borne preservative.Universal Clear Wood Preservative provides effective protection against mould growth, fungal decay , Wet Rot, Dry Rot and fungal disfigurement such Blue Stain, as well as wood boring insect attack.
Universal Clear Wood Preservative is suitable for use as an on-site preservative for previously untreated or treated exposed timber and cut end grains. Apply by brush or short-time immersion (dipping or deluging). Apply 2-3 liberal coats, as required. Coverage approximately 4-8 square meters per litre, per coat, depending on the porosity of the wood. Universal Clear Wood Preservative is not suitable for use as a penetrating treatment process. HSE Approved. Ensure sufficiant time is left for solvents in the treatment to completely leave the substrate before overcoating, this is particularly important when overcoating with water-borne coatings.
