Microporous Exterior Woodstain Microporous Exterior Woodstain is a solvent-borne medium/high build satin finish woodstain suitable for use on all exterior hardwood and softwood joinery such as doors, windows, porches etc. Thixotropic - easy to apply. Its microporous flexible formulation allows wood to move and breathe. Resists cracking and peeling and contains UV inhibitors and fungicide. Bare timber: Apply 3 full coats. Previously woodstained timber: Apply 2-3 full coats. Allow a minimum of 24 hours between coats. Theoretical coverage approximately 12 square meters per litre. Practical coverage 10 square meters per litre depending on profile and porosity of the substrate.
