Water-based Epoxy Floor Paint - 2 PackTwo-pack, semi-gloss finish, waterbased epoxy floor coating which combines very high durability, good resistance to chemicals, oil and grease with very low odour during application and curing. For use as a floor paint in locations such as warehouses, food factories, canteens, kitchens, workshops, garages, showrooms etc. where solvent-based systems are not suitable.
Bare Concrete: Apply 1 coat Water-based Epoxy Binder Sealer, 2 coats Water-based Epoxy Floor Paint. Previously painted substrates (sound): Wash, degrease and abrade to roughen surfaces and remove sheen. Apply 1 coat Water-based Epoxy Bonding Primer, 2 coats Water-based Epoxy Floor Paint. Previously painted substrates (unsound): Remove all loose and flaking paint back to a 'tight' area and 'feather' edges. Apply 1 coat Water-based Epoxy Binder Sealer, 2 coats Water-based Epoxy Floor Paint. The slip-resistance of Water-based Epoxy Floor Paint can be enhanced by applying our fine or medium grade anti-slip aggregate, scatter onto the wet first coat. This should be allowed to dry, then loose particles brushed away before applying the second coat to encapsulate the aggregate. Theoretical coverage 10 square meters per litre. Practical coverage approximately 8 square meters per litre, this may vary depending on the porosity and profile of the substrate. Touch dry in approximately 6 hours. Minimum overcoating interval: 16 hours. Maximum overcoating interval: 72 hours (it is important that the second coat is applied within this time period to ensure a good chemical bond between the first and second coats occurs). These times are based on a temperature of 20°C, normal relative humidity and good drying conditions. Do not apply if temperatures are below 10°C, especially in areas of low ventilation. Available in Red, Grey, Light Grey (00A05) and Green as two components which when mixed together make 5.00 Litres. Please note that this is a 7 Kilo pack.
