Steel Wool Pads, high quality mixed pack containing 3 x 20 gram finger rolls approx 9mm wide, consisting of one roll each of fine grade, medium grade, and coarse grade. 60 grams in all.
Fine Grade - Use for keying surfaces prior to painting, varnishing etc., final polish on copper pipe before fitting olive compression fittings, and general surface finishing tasks.
Medium Grade - Use for general purpose work, cleaning of copper pipe fittings, paint removal and preparation.
Coarse Grade - Use for rust and paint removal; thick oxidization on copper pipe, and the initial prepartion of rough surfaces.
Note: Always wear protective gloves when using steel wool. Cut wool from the roll, never tear it. To prevent discolouration don't use on Oak.
Useful where you only need a small quantity of higher quality steel wire wool, and don't want to go to the expense of purchasing the larger 225g of 450g rolls, ideal for polishers, and plumbers.
