WRX Vinyl Matt Pro Paint is a water-based interior topcoat paint formulated with acrylic emulsion, delivering a smooth matt finish. Ideal for standard interior walls and ceilings, it provides excellent hiding power and is highly resistant to cracking, blistering, and peeling. It allows the wall to breathe with its permeability. It effectively conceals plastering imperfections and brush/roller marks, while being easy to apply, virtually odourless, and non-yellowing.
It's available to collect TODAY in white, or tinted in 2.5 litre & 5 litre sizes to ANY British Standard, RAL, NCS, Little Greene or Farrow & Ball colour in just a few minutes after ordering.
How to order Mixed Colours...
Just select either Mixed Pale Colours, or Mixed Mid-Deep Colours from the drop-down box (examples of pale or mid-deep are shown below the product photo - as pale colours use less pigment - so the price is lower), then send us an email to enquiries@decoratingdirect.co.uk containing the colour and reference code you would like your WRX Trade Durable Matt to be tinted to, or, simply specify your colour in the comments box after you have confirmed your Click and Collect order.
We won't start mixing your paint until after you have arrived and have paid for your order at our Middlesbrough warehouse - so there is no commitment from you to go ahead with mixing your paint, until you are completely happy. And we'll also let you know before you set off - if you've made the wrong pale/mid-deep selection.
Surface Preparation
All substrates must be sound, clean, dry, and free of contaminants. Remove loose or flaking material; repair defects. Sand glossy surfaces to create a mechanical key.
- Porous surfaces: i.e. bare plaster/concrete/filler with suction. Apply a mist coat to satisfy suction (dilute by 30% with clean water by volume).
- Chalking/weathered/powdery surfaces: Stabilise with a colourless surface stabiliser like Zinsser Gardz.
Application Conditions
Do not apply below +8 deg C or in damp/humid conditions. Stir thoroughly before use. May be thinned up to 10% with clean water if required.
Application
By Brush, Fossa Solora medium-pile roller, conventional or airless spray. Apply evenly, loading tools generously. Two coats recommended; additional coats may be needed over dark colours.
Theoretical Coverage
- Up to 15 square metres per litre, depending on surface texture and porosity. Practical coverage: reduce by 20%.
- 5 litres will cover around 60 square meters per coat at 12m/L
- Drying Times (normal conditions) Touch dry: 30 minutes Recoat: 4–6 hours. High humidity and low-temperatures will extend drying times.
Cleanup
Remove excess paint from tools before washing with warm soapy water. Do not pour residues into drains or watercourses. Follow local regulations for waste paint disposal.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry, frost-free area, protected from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Keep container upright and tightly sealed.
