Bartoline TX10 Paint and Varnish Stripper is a highly effective, non-Methylene Chloride formula paint and varnish remover

Safer Non-caustic formula without compromising on performance. Works quickly, and is capable of removing multiple layers of old decorative paints and varnishes in a single application. Suitable for use on wood, metal, glass, plaster, and concrete. (However, it should not be used on plastics).

Typical Coverage: Upto 1 square metre (depending on the thickness and number of layers being removed). Read the manufacturers instructions before use and wear protective gloves and safety glasses (if necessary). Protect nearby surfaces from contact with the product. Shake well before use. Application: pour a suitable quantity of the stripper into a separate container. Using a brush, spread a generous, thick, even coat onto the surface - avoid brushing it out thinly. Apply at a rate of about 1 litre per square metre. Allow the product to work for approximately one hour, then apply a second coat if needed. For surfaces with fewer than five layers of paint or varnish, a single application may suffice. Removal: Once the stripper has softened the coating, scrape it away, removing as much material as possible to leave the surface relatively clean. Repeat the process if any stubborn areas remain. After stripping, rub down the area with a scrubbing brush or stainless steel pad or Stainless steel wire wool (Do not use steel wire wool, as it may discolour and damage the surface). Finally, wash the stripped area with a detergent-and-water solution, rinse thoroughly with clean water, and allow everything to dry completely before any further treatment or refinishing.
