WRX Trade Durable Matt Pro is a premium, water-based acrylic-copolymer, scrubbable emulsion paint designed as a decorative top coat for interior walls and ceilings, in homes, commercial and institutional buildings. It delivers a deep, uniform matt finish that is both beautiful and practical.

Its highly cross-linked formulation provides Class 1 scrub resistance (ISO 11998), offering excellent stain resistance and making the surface fully wipeable and washable. Additionally, the mould-resistant properties make it particularly suitable for high-humidity environments such as bathrooms and kitchens, as well as cooler areas prone to condensation (e.g., around bay windows), and areas of low air movement (e.g. behind cupboards, and wardrobes etc). Easy to apply, it provides a high-quality, durable long-term finish ideal for everyday use.

Surface Preparation
All substrates must be sound, clean, dry, and free of contaminants. Remove loose or flaking material; repair defects. Sand glossy surfaces to create a mechanical key.

Porous surfaces: i.e. bare plaster/concrete/filler with suction. Apply a mist coat to satisfy suction (dilute by 30% with clean water by volume).
Chalking/weathered/powdery surfaces: Stabilise with a colourless surface stabiliser like Zinsser Gardz.

Application Conditions
Do not apply below +8°C or in damp/humid conditions. Stir thoroughly before use. May be thinned up to 10% with clean water if required.

Application
By Brush, Solora medium-pile roller, conventional or airless spray. Apply evenly, loading tools generously. Two coats recommended; additional coats may be needed over dark colours.

Theoretical Coverage

Up to 15 m²/L per litre, depending on surface texture and porosity. Practical coverage: reduce by 20%.
7.5 litres will cover around 90 square meters per coat at 12m/L
Drying Times (normal conditions) Touch dry: 30 minutes Recoat: 4–6 hours. High humidity and low-temperatures will extend drying times.

Cleanup
Remove excess paint from tools before washing with warm soapy water. Do not pour residues into drains or watercourses. Follow local regulations for waste paint disposal.

Storage
Store in a cool, dry, frost-free area, protected from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Keep container upright and tightly sealed.

*contains a biocide for the protection of the paint film from fungal growth. Once dried the paint film is defined as a treated article and contains the following biocidal substance: 3-iodo-2-propynyl-butylcarbamate (Cas No: 55406-53-6)
