12 inch Fossa Polystripe Medium Pile All Purpose Paint Roller Sleeve. This 12 x 1.75 inch dia. plush polyester sleeve is designed for applying wall and masonry paints to smooth and semi-smooth surfaces. It's supplied fitted with standard 8mm open end caps, and fits all standard 12 inch double arm roller frames (shown below). The sleeve has a medium pile (12mm) high-quality soft plush fabric made from blended polyester fibres. This provides even paint pickup and release for consistent application. Beveled fabric ends prevent fatty paint tramlines at the roller sleeves extremities - producing a uniform blended paint finish.

These polyester roller sleeves are low-cost and versatile - but not low quality. They are suitable for applying both water-based and solvent-based coatings. The fabric is thermo-fused to the core for the best durability.

Due to the low price, they are often chosen for one-time or occasional use. They are often used by roofing contractors and flooring contractors to apply bitumen, epoxy floor resins, roofing coatings, glass fibre resins, primers, adhesives, dispersion paints and similar materials.

The high-quality polystripe fabric reduces lint shedding and helps achieve a smooth finish. It holds a good volume of paint, allowing faster coverage of larger areas. Although compared with the Fossa Solora microfibre rollers, the Polystripe delivers a slightly less flat, and less even result on walls and ceilings. The Fossa Polystripe is a practical, budget-friendly option for general painting work where the very best paint finish is not the highest priority.

The 12 inch Fossa Polystripe Medium Pile All Purpose Paint Roller Sleeves are individually shrink wrapped to keep them dry and clean in on-site conditions - the last thing you want is a roller contaminated with dirt/dust or liquids. They are sold in singles, packs of 5, and bulk cartons of 54 roller sleeves to save you even more.
