Rustins Blackboard Paint is a fast drying, matt black, high opacity, water-based, quick-drying paint that provides a non-reflective surface with just the right 'bite'for chalkboards with traditional chalk and liquid chalk pens, notice boards, and also low reflectance photographic work.

It's easily cleaned and maintained by dry, or damp cloth/sponge. Low VOC, and low odour during application. Suitable for interior and exterior use on almost any clean, smooth, dry surface; apply to bare wood with 2–3 coats if needed.

Application: Existing coatings should be cleaned and lightly abraded to provide a key. Stir very well before and during use to keep the matting agent well distributed; Mask off area to be painted for a neat finish; Apply liberally by brush or roller. Drying: Touch-dry in 30 minutes; allow 6 hours between coats, and 3 days to harden and cure before chalk use. Ideal application temperature: 15–25°C. Theoretical Coverage: Up to 12 square meters per litre. Clean-up: clean in warm soapy water. Conforms to BS EN 71 Part 3 1995 (Safety of Toys).

Rustins Blackboard Paint is supplied in 250ml cans, sufficiant for covering upto 2-3 square meters per coat.
