Kip 3808 Fineline Orange Washi masking tape is an ultra-thin flat-backed painters tape capable of producing razor sharp lines. Adhesive Strength to Steel: 20 .It's a brand new, competatively priced product, which has shorter release times, and slightly higher adhesion than it's premium cousin Fineline Yellow Washi Masking Tape, but it's 90 day indoor, and 42 day outdoor release times are probably all most decorators need. It's also lovely to handle.
Kip 3808 Fineline Orange Washi masking tape is the latest generation of tape, using a brand new adhesive formulation which raises the game against other well known masking tape brands. It leaves only the the sharpest, cleanest lines - perfect for masking or painting stripes, and block colours on smooth to slightly rough walls. No paint bleed under tape (even with woodstains). Formulated with a new lower-tack adhesive, it removes cleanly from delicate surfaces and won't damage painted drywall or paint effect finishes.

We've been disappointed with the quality and consistancy of masking tapes generally available to professional painters and decorators within the UK. Consequently we've sourced a new range of extremely high quality masking tapes from KIP which are developed and manufactured in the USA by Shurtape. These include amongs others a Professional painters flat-backed masking tape, a 7 day UV resistant crepe masking tape, and a 30 day low-tack delicate crepe masking tape. They are not the cheapest masking tapes available, but if you care about performance we think you'll like them.
