Methods of payment

Covid-19 Crisis: We're fully open and shipping orders, but please be patient when trying to contact us, we're working very hard with skeleton staff.

Pay securely online by credit/debit card.

Order and pay securely online using Visa, MasterCard, or Maestro cards from card issuers within the UK and Republic of Ireland. Unfortunately we do not accept most prepayment/gift cards. We don't store, and we never get to see our customers card details when they pay using this method. Your card details are encrypted via 256-bit SSL and sent directly through to our SCA ready Payment processor.

We'll send you an e-mail acknowledging receipt of your order within 3 hours (during our normal opening times, Mon to Fri 9:00-16:00). The delivery address which you provide at the time of placing your order must be either:

  • the cardholders address (as shown on your card statement), or
  • an alternative business address which we can verify (such as your place of work).
  • an additional delivery addresses registered with your card issuer, (most card issuers will allow you to register multiple addresses with your card, this is helpful for students, or persons who live away from home for long periods of time), but you will need to inform us of this.

We don't currently deliver to alternative residential addresses, other than those registered with your card issuer.

Your contract to purchase the items on your order is not complete until we send you an e-mail notifying you that your order has been despatched to you.

 

Post your order with a cheque (Companies and Local Authorities only).

If you fax us an official order, we will fax you back with a pro-forma invoice which should allow you to raise a cheque (in 'Pounds Sterling', drawn on a UK bank, and made payable to 'Decorating Direct Ltd'). In an effort to reduce financial risk to our company due to dishonored cheques, we now allow a period of 12 full working days for customers cheques to clear before we despatch any orders. The first day of the 12 working day period starts on the day we present your cheque to our bank for settlement. We are unable to despatch orders which are paid by cheque any sooner than this. Your contract to purchase the items on your order is not complete until we send you an e-mail notifying you that your order has been despatched to you.

Pay by Bank Transfer (Mainly for repeat Business customers and Local Authorities).

This method of payment is only available for existing customers, who will already have our bank details (our Bank Account Name, Bank Account Number and Bank Sort Code). Click the bank transfer payment button, and arrange payment using your online or mobile banking app for the total value shown. Please use the order number shown on the same page as your payment reference. Your contract to purchase the items on your order is not complete until we send you an e-mail notifying you that your order has been despatched to you.

Please note: that we no longer accept PERSONAL CHEQUES, CASH, or POSTAL ORDERS as a form of payment.
