Decorating Direct Ltd collects only voluntarily submitted personal information during the course of it’s business, through it's web site, via email, fax and telephone etc. to enable us process your requests. Any processing and storage of your personal information is to enable us to fulfill any contract with you; to ensure that the contract was subsequently fulfilled to your satisfaction; and/or to take any specific steps you have asked for prior to entering into a contract.

 

Information is used by us, and specific relevant information is also shared with our contractors and agents, to provide our service (this includes but is not limited to our Payment processors Paypal, Amazon Pay, Apple Pay, Nochex, PayPoint, Verifone and Sage; Courier and shipping companies Royal Mail, ParcelForce, UKMail, TNT, Fedex, DHL; Service review companies www.reviews.co.uk, www.google.co.uk). We may also process, store and share your personal information to meet our legal obligations (HM Revenue & Customs, Sale of Goods Act, Guarantee's, Refunds, Distance Selling Regulations, Trading Standards, Fraud prevention, Material Safety Data Sheets etc.)

 

We may also process or store information for legitimate interest purposes to allow us to follow up any services which we have provided to you, to ensure these services were completed to your satisfaction. We may also process or store information for legitimate interest purposes to allow us to also provide you with marketing information about new products, or special offers etc., available from Decorating Direct that we feel Businesses (including sole traders) would find useful. We do not deliberately target non-business users with such marketing. However you can always opt out from continued receipt of Marketing information by contacting us and requesting that you are removed from our mailing list. None of your personal information is ever sold to mailing lists or other third-party organizations.

 

We also track and monitor visitors usage and traffic throughout our site for statistical purposes using the services of Google Analytics. Such information is not correlated with specific users or individuals.

 

We and our contractors will retain your information for the period necessary to fulfill the purposes listed above, and to meet our legal obligations.
