10 rolls x 36mm (1.5in) FrogTape Green Masking Tape, in a new 33% longer 55 meter long roll. It's a medium-tack professional quality crepe paper painters tape in bulk cartons, manufactured by Shurtape USA. Adhesive Strength to Steel: 36 . Use on bare timber, stone or glass, and previously painted and cured, firmly adhering coatings. (It's tack-level is too high for recently painted, or delicate surfaces, instead consider using Low-tack Frogtape Yellow). Removes cleanly for up to 21 days, UV-resistant for up to 7 days in direct sunlight.

FrogTape Green masking tape is also available to buy as single rolls in 24 mm, 36 mm & 48 mm widths here.

FrogTape's key difference compared with other medium-tack painters masking tapes in Shurtapes range, is that Frog Tape has a unique water-absorbing polymer powder ground into both sides of the roll following manufacture.

This unique polymer expands almost instantly when it comes into contact with water. The expanded polymer blocks further paint ingress underneath the tape edge, reducing paint bleed inwards from the edge. It’s a simple innovation, helps on appropriate projects using water-based paints, such as single, or multi-colour painting schemes, involving stripes, borders, dado’s or other geometric shapes, on smooth flat surfaces.

Where you need a sharp, clean edge, with higher tack, FrogTape Green helps to achieve sharp colour transitions. That can save you both time and money.

Works well with water-based paints (emulsion and acrylics) on smooth, flat surfaces – You won’t see any benefit when using it with solvent-based coatings.
Tape should be firmly and evenly pressed down – if the polymer treated tape edge is not firmly in contact with the substrate being painted, it won’t be able to block further paint ingress when it expands.
Keep the tape dry, and store in dry conditons when not in use, as the polymer reacts to water.
Remove the tape immediately after each application of your coating.
